“How cool is it to be able to work with patients, advocate for nurses in hospitals, and integrate evidence based practice across the health system?” says Jennifer DalMonte, who is becoming a Pediatric Critical Care CNS in the DNP Advance Practice.

Clinical nurse specialists (CNS) are change agents. They are advanced practice registered nurses who work in a variety of health care settings to positively impact patient care, nursing practice, and organizational outcomes. The 2021 CNS Week theme is “The RISE of the CNS.” With that in mind, meet four clinical nurse specialist students at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
